The Genoa Boat Show is one of the major city events, every year it attracts thousands of visitors and sea lovers. An international fair held every year in September, featuring numerous exhibitors from all over the world: the perfect opportunity to admire some of the most beautiful boats of the moment.
The dates of the 2022 Boat Show
This year Genoa hosts again the Boat Show, organized by I Saloni Nautici, a company belonging to Confindustria Nautica, and recognized by IFBSO, the International Federation of Boat Fair Organizers.
The fair lasts 6 days, from 22 to 27 September 2022, with opening hours from 10am to 6pm.
The entrance to the event is located in Genoa, in Piazzale Kennedy 1, where you can find both indoor and outdoor exhibitions.
Events and exhibitions
The Genoa Boat Show represents an important opportunity for discussion and business both for operators and professionals in the sector, and for simple enthusiasts.
The main exhibition is divided into pavilions:
Yacht & Superyacht Area
Sailing World Area
Boating Discovery Area
Tech Trade Area
Living area the Sea
Forum area
In addition to these, there are several other areas dedicated to the boating world. On display you can find mainly state-of-the-art yachts, sailboats and catamarans.
The 2022 edition of the Boat Show will include musical performances, conferences and cultural events.
Prominent among them is the lecture series "Meetings in Blue. Men, Women and Sea Stories" for which Hotel Astoria is among the main sponsors, featuring important names from the nautical world: sailor Jean Le Cam, entrepreneur Bassani Antivari and Mauro Morandi, the hermit from Budelli. The meetings will be held at the Galata Maritime Museum from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th September, at 7pm, with free admission subject to availability.
The meetings, conducted by the journalist and writer Fabio Pozzo, are dedicated to those who have carried out great enterprises in the nautical world: sportsmen, entrepreneurs and more.

The Astoria Hotel is located in a privileged position, close to the city’s main attractions and a stone's throw from public transport (trains, buses and subway). The pavilions of the Boat Show are easily reachable by bus: in a few minutes on foot you can reach one of the main city terminals, from which numerous buses depart every hour with stops near Piazzale Kennedy.
