Genoa's Galata Museo del Mare is preparing to host the fourth edition of Meetings in Blue. Men, Women and Stories of the Sea. This fascinating exhibition, dedicated to the sea and its many cultural facets, will run from May 27 to November 18, 2023. During this period, it will be possible to participate in a series of not-to-be-missed appointments featuring prominent national and international figures.

"Incontri in Blu" will be held at the Auditorium of the Galata Museo del Mare, located at Calata De Mari, 1, in Genoa.
To reach the Galata Museo del Mare from the Hotel Astoria in Genoa, you can follow an easy and convenient route. From the hotel, you can take a taxi that will take you directly to the museum in a few minutes. Alternatively, you can use public transportation: you can take bus number 12 from the bus stop closest to the hotel and get off at the De Mari stop, which is right in front of the museum.

Saturday, May 27: Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, a sailing legend.
Opening the event will be Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, a true legend of the sailing world. Sir Robin was the first man in history to circumnavigate the globe under sail without making any solo stops. This extraordinary feat occurred during the 1968/69 Golden Globe, a historic race that also featured the exploits of other great sailors such as Bernard Moitessier and Donald Crowhurst. Sir Robin, who has sailed two other round-the-world races, will be present to share his extraordinary experience with the audience.
Saturday, June 10: Francesca and Rachele Fogar, a tribute to their father Ambrogio Fogar
In the following meeting, daughters Francesca and Rachele Fogar will pay tribute to their father Ambrogio Fogar, a towering figure in the panorama of sea-related adventures. Ambrogio Fogar brought adventure into the homes of Italians and took on epic solo challenges, including sailing nonstop around the world against prevailing winds and currents. This will be a special time to remember and celebrate his life and his extraordinary contribution to the world of sailing.
Thursday, September 21: Massimo Perotti, president and CEO of Sanlorenzo Group.
During this meeting, we will have the honor of hearing from Massimo Perotti, president and CEO of the Sanlorenzo Group, one of the world's leading superyacht manufacturers. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Boat Show, as a post-show event. It will be a unique opportunity to discover the secrets and passions that drive the luxury nautical industry.
Tuesday, Oct. 10: Costanza Musso, CEO of Grendi Group.

Chiara is one of five women in the world to have reached depths greater than -100 meters. In addition to being a talented freediver, she is also an entrepreneur and physician. During her meeting, she will share her passion for the sea and her experience in pushing her own limits in such a fascinating and mysterious environment.
