In early November (this year on the weekend of Nov. 11 and 12, 2023), you can take part in the Pumpkin Festival in Murta, a highlight event dedicated to autumn delicacies. This fair, which will be repeated again on November 18 and 19, 2023, promises two days of celebration with food stands, games, pumpkin-themed contests, guided tours, and many other attractions.
Tartufando
From Friday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, Genoa will be dressed in culinary elegance with the highly anticipated return of Tartufando, the event dedicated to the prized black or white diamond. The event involves not only the Luzzati Gardens but also extends to Matteotti Square, vico San Matteo and the Giustiniani area, transforming the historic center into a paradise for truffle lovers. The 50 participating businesses in the historic center offer themed dishes, with white or black truffles, and exclusive gastronomic proposals. Reservations are required by calling the individual business directly.
New this year is the Fair Area at Giardini Luzzati, open on weekends from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., where food and wine stands offer typical winter products from the area and truffle-themed delicacies.
The Luzzati Gardens become the stage for events, truffle-based street food and a market celebrating handicrafts.
St. Carlino Fair in Voltri
In Voltri in early November , there is the San Carlino Fair, an exciting patronal festival that invites residents and visitors to participate in a day full of tradition, typical products and local crafts. The event takes place in the picturesque setting of Sebastiano Gaggero Square, which is transformed into a colorful backdrop of stalls and booths from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
