Galleria Mazzini & Via Roma

The 'Galleria' meaning 'tunnel' also offers a monthly antique fair and Easter book fair.

Beyond the tunnel of Italian shops, the road leading out becomes even more enticing adding a touch of further elegance. All the big Italian names can be found here on Via Roma. The road does allow traffic but with rather large pedestrian areas, it is probably the best place to have a stroll in Genoa and window shop amongst the Art Nouveau buildings that flank the road.

Along Via Venti, this is a foodies dream, comparable to Borough Market in London or Boquiera in Barca. A gastronomic gem in the heart of Genoa. A superb place to gain some strength between shopping hits and also for people watching.
